Wenger claims a quad possible for Arsenal

I admire Wenger’s claim for trophies, but think they will get only one this year. The Carling Cup.

His astute psychological approach is good although their defense is not up to par for the task. They were partially bold against Barca and it worked, but sitting back doesn’t do them any good (ie. Newcastle comeback from 0-4).

His approach is similar in situation to the bold approach that I thought Martin O’Neil should have taken, but didn’t, at Aston Villa a couple years ago. Villa was in the top 4 or near it with seven weeks to go in the season and Martin kept putting a damper on Villa’s chances. I understand not wanting to give bulletin board material, but sometimes you have to inspire your team.

Aston Villa faded that season. How will Arsenal respond to the opposite approach?
